Swiss-Ski, the national ski and snowboard association of Switzerland, and energy company Alpiq have extended their partnership for another three years.
As part of the deal, Alpiq will provide financial support to individual athletes, regional organisations and educational institutions.
While financial details of the deal were not released, in January Swiss-Ski signed an extension to their agreement with another major partner, banking group Raffeisen, in a three-year deal reportedly worth US$18.6 million overall.
Commenting on the renewal, Andreas Wenger, director of Swiss-Ski, said: ?Alpiq and Swiss-Ski fit together very well, therefore I am pleased we can continue this successful and strong partnership.?
Michael Wider, deputy chief executive of Alpiq, added: "Since 2009, our cooperation has strengthened Alpiq?s anchorage in Switzerland, particularly in the mountainous regions where our roots lie, thus significantly increasing awareness of our young energy company.?
