5:15 PM: The Star Tribune reports Minnesota Vikings head coach Leslie Frazier has agreed to a new multi-year contract extension.

5:00 PM: An unnamed member of France's national soccer team is under investigation for soliciting an underage prostitute. Two other players will appear in court in June for soliciting another underage prostitute three years ago.

4:45 PM: Brian Murphy of the Idaho Statesman reports that a proposed NCAA football rule would ban Boise State from wearing all-blue uniforms at home games at its blue-turfed Bronco Stadium.

4:30 PM: Chicago White Sox manager Robin Ventura confirmed he turned down an one-year extension offer on his two-year contract last October: "I'm not worried about trying to extend anything right now. I'm more worried with this team in this spring training than I'm worried about 2015."

3:30 PM: The Tulsa World has the story of Natham Mitcham, the basketball manager & special needs student at Owosso High School who got to suit up Tuesday night thanks to a Twitter campaign. Mitcham scored eight points & was carried on the shoulders of fans who rushed the court at the end of the game.

3:15 PM: The NBA announces that Orlando Magic forward Hedo Turkoglu has been suspended 20 games for violating the league's PED policy. Turkoglu reportedly tested positive for methenolone, a type of anabolic steroid.

3:00 PM: In his new book, Mike Piazza blames Vin Scully for turning Dodgers fans against him during his contract negotiations in 1998. Scully denies Piazza's allegations: "I have no idea where he is coming from .... I just don't do that, ever. I'm really flabbergasted by that reference."

2:45 PM: The NCAA Football Rules Committee suggests that players who target & contact defenseless opponents above the shoulders should be ejected from games.

2:15 PM: Accused Auburn tree poisoner Harvey Updkye Jr. had his bond revoked Wednesday and will remain in jail until his trial starts on April 8. Updkye was arrested in Louisiana in November on assault charges for an altercation with a Lowe's employee over a returned lawnmower.

2:00 PM: The Kentucky Wildcats announce that basketball player Nerlens Noel is out for the rest of the season with a torn ACL suffered during Tuesday night's game against Florida.

1:45 PM: Utah Jazz player DeMarre Carroll confronted Kevin Durant after he committed a flagrant foul against Jazz teammate Alec Burks during Tuesday's game: "I just told him, 'Don't be playing dirty out here. If you're going to play dirty, play dirty in the park. We're not going to be playing dirty out here.'"
