Girls Basketball
Class 4A Andrew Regional
No. 1 Marian Catholic 70, Andrew 35: Megan Walsh scored 17 points and Kauai Bradley added 15 to spark Marian Catholic (28-1) in the championship. Andrew (21-6) received 13 points from Molly Franson and 12 from Tiana Karopulos.
Class 4A Thornwood Regional
No. 3 Marist 75, Thornwood 42: JeTaun Rouse had 17 points to pace Marist (21-9) in the semifinal. Leah Bolton and Bria Stallworth chipped in 13 and 12 points, respectively, for the RedHawks. Thornwood finished 16-11.
No. 9 Lincoln-Way North 63, No. 10 Oak Lawn 56: Ashley Weringa and Ellen Graham netted 16 points apiece to boost Lincoln-Way North (23-5) in the semifinal. LaTondra Brooks led Oak Lawn (21-6) with 15 points.
Class 3A De La Salle Regional
Evergreen Park 43, De La Salle 35: Megan Pfister totaled 17 points and Megan Beckow tacked on 13 for Evergreen Park (13-13) in the championship.
Class 3A Queen of Peace Regional
Queen of Peace 54, Julian 41: Hannah Lipman scored a season-high 29 points and grabbed a career-best 20 rebounds to guide Queen of Peace (12-17) in the championship.
Class 2A Seton Sectional
Seton 55, St. Francis de Sales 51: Ebony Bailey chalked up 19 points and Tiffany Ellis scored 16 to lead Seton (24-8) in the championship.
Class 1A Westminster Christian Sectional
Westminster Christian 45, Morgan Park Academy 28: Brittney McKnight had a team-leading nine points for Morgan Park Academy (19-9) in the final.
Boys Basketball
Illinois Lutheran 52, Morgan Park Academy 37: Austin Wood scored 22 points to lift Illinois Lutheran (17-6) in Crete.
