The 'Criminal' singer spent the night in a Texas jail on September 20 after police found cannabis on her tour bus during a traffic stop.
She was released the next day on $10,000 (?6,200) bail, a day before a scheduled concert in Houston.
TMZ reports that during the concert, Apple accused several people at the jail of being rude and engaging in potentially illegal activity during her stay.
Addressing the crowd, she said: "The guy who runs the jail, he's a real decent guy, a good guy. I want to apologise to him... for being attitude-y.
"Most of the people were very nice to me. There are four of you out there... I want you to know I heard everything you did, I wrote it all down, everything you did and said, stupidly thinking I couldn't hear you."
The 35-year-old singer recently released The Idler Wheel..., her first new album in seven years.
