Google Wallet Access Gets Pulled for Galaxy Nexus Users on Verizon

google-wallet-galaxy-nexusVerizon Galaxy Nexus owners who use Google Wallet are reporting that support has unexpectedly been dropped ? to be fair, it wasn?t supported in the first place. Rather, Nexus owners were able to side-load the system onto their devices without issue, but it seems the ruse is up. Opening up the app now greets users with a prompt to update, only the Google Play store is saying that the Nexus is no longer supported. Surprise! Verizon has been sketchy on the mobile payment system for quite some time, refusing to support the system because of security reasons. Google Wallet just can?t catch a break. Developers have already discovered a small workaround by restoring to an older version, so if you really want to continue using mobile payments, simply try that method to get it working again.
