Country stars Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton will be tying the knot this weekend. The couple, who have been dating for five years, will wed in a country ceremony in Miranda's home state of Texas on May 14. Miranda, who will be walked down the aisle by her father, will also be wearing a family dress. "She will be wearing her mother?s wedding dress, with some alterations, of course," an insider tells In Touch.
Since Miranda has expressed a desire to have a short ceremony so they can celebrate properly with a big bash, it's very likely the reception will include the Lambert family's Red 55 wine, named after their star daughter's first pickup. In preparation for the big day, the blushing bride took to her Twitter page to post a photo of packaged deer meat, saying, "Last thing loaded for the wedding!!! Harvested by....me!!!!!" and "I am so excited. Got nails touched up. One last wal mart run and I should be good!"
